Most of the finishing blows are either decapitations or impalements. The violence level heightens even more when characters are executed. While engaged in battle, characters bleed as they are struck by a sword, axe, mace, or spear. Three factions fight to the death in brutal melee combat. Content Guide ESRB has given an M rating to For Honor for its intense violence. After waiting two years since its reveal in 2015, I was more than ready to armor up on release day. For Honor is one big Deadliest Warrior scenario. Though the show only had a few seasons, it did spawn a couple video games in the fighting genre that were pretty sub-par. At the end of each episode, a short choreographed fight between the two warriors would reveal the winner. When I look at For Honor, I think of Deadliest Warrior, a show that put warriors of ancient history against each other one-on-one, determining the winner through research and recorded statistics from various weapons, armor, and more. If people choose to see any criticism of the game as salt or blind hatred, then that's on them.Price: $59.99 Knights, Vikings, and Samurai doing battle in all-out war? This riveting “who would win” scenario has been brought to life by the talented team at Ubisoft Montreal. However for a newcomer to the game without many opportunities to meet people to do that with, that's why i suggest you don't buy the game until it's fixed. The game is still alot of fun with friends where you mutually agree not to stick to 1 character/ play only top tiers. I'm not blindly hating Ubisoft, while i'm very disappointed, yes i can give credit where it's due. Ubisoft brought this on themselves and rather than knuckle down and fix the issues which could've been done in six months with player feedback, they focused on new maps, new characters (which made things worse).

The cause of this is lack of experience in the genre (i'll give them credit for the ambition) but also the overhype and the way too short release date. If you release a game it needs to be playable. However fixing the game a year later and it's still barely playable, thats not an excuse. I really don't buy the "Im an amazing player so it must be the game thats broken" routine I agree they are fixing the game. I play every day and I see a healthy mix of all characters being used, and they are all viable. Everything you said about 95% of the community playing only certain characters is completely false. Sure the game has a few issues, but they fixed a lot of the bad ones, and all games have issues. Originally posted by Necroholic:What a hero. It's cringy these die hard For Honor fans that refuse to admit there's a problem. That's how the other fighting games (the actually good ones) work. Also a fighting game should be catered for the the competitive scene, OR it dies. Also care to prove me wrong? One only needs to play the game for an hour to see what i'm saying is true. I suggested he doesn't buy the game not he does. Nearly 80% of your statements are wrong, but its nice to see that butthurt people still want to manipulate casual players to buy a game thats only flawed in High competetive play. The game's dead, it's not fun as 3 characters destroy any other character and 95% of the tiny community that's left play those 3 characters. Buying this game in it's shoddy condition encourages Ubisoft to stay lazy and incompetent, i'm not just saying this to be salty, but any other game ANY will give you more enjoyment. Originally posted by Ace:Neither, i know you want to try the game but it's in such a poor condition and rather than fix it, they're taking a month to change anything and all that change does is make the bottom tier classes become top, and vice versa.

In PC due to the frame advantage people feel more confident about parrying and playing mindgames with slower moves,so the situation is different. Of course this doesn't have to do with parrying only.Openers such as warlord's headbutt should be harder to react as well. This forces people to either be really good with slow heroes or just spam their fastest attacks non-stop. Probably because of the frame rate diff you mentioned Makes sense. The very low frames basically force console players to almost never parry.I can't imagine anyone on console parrying 400ms attacks except if he has incredible reaction timing or out of luck.

He also told me PC players are better overall than console players. I heard the same from a guy I dueled that came from console to PC.

I hear PS4 has a larger population though, not sure if it is true or not,but just pointing it out. Originally posted by CybermΩnk:PC has double the frames,so I would go for PC.Especially in such a reaction based game like this, you need the animations to be as smooth as possible.
